| Bill "Rudd" ~ Drums
Bill was born and raised in Connecticut. Started drumming in 5th grade on a little practice pad. Got into grade school orchestral band that same year and stayed with that until 7th grade-working primarily with conductor Bill Belden during that time. Started in 6th grade on drum set (outside of school) taking private lessons with Fred Bocchino-friend of dad’s. The first beat Fred taught Bill was the Fox Trot. After the Fox Trot learned a few other dance beats. |

| Took to Rock and Roll at about age 13 jamming on his first drum kit (an early CB700). Played along with some of his sisters' albums-Boston, Jackson Browne mostly. Later got his own albums & 45's-The Doors, Hendrix, Foreigner and Bob Seger to name a few. First band was at about age 14 jamming in a garage band with a few guys taking acoustic guitar classes in high school. Annie's song and Eleanor Rigby were the first 2 songs Bill played in a garage band. Upgraded to an old Fibes drum kit (still has it) at about age 15. Kept playing in and out of different garage bands until finishing high school. Went in the military 2 weeks after graduating. Was in a few bands while serving-Paragon, The Dickheads-but had the most success (while serving) playing in a band called Synopsis. Bill was always playing Classic Rock-Skynyrd, AC/DC,ZZ Top. After getting out of the military moved to California for a good day job. Looked around for a band in BAM magazine and in May of 1994 saw an ad "AC/DC tribute band forming". Auditioned and got in Powerage a few weeks later. Has since worked also with Axis, Speak of the Devil and Without Warning. | |||||||
