Influences: I would listen to my mom everyday singing, and I would have to correct her on some harmonies, could tell right away I had a natural musical ear. Musical beginnings: Michael Fresquez, aka Col. Angus, started playing guitar in 1973, after he got his first Les Paul copy. After learning the entire live Led Zeppelin Song Remains the Same album in 1976, he decided to try to copy some kid from the L.A. area named Eddie. |

| It was a tough road to drive down but he knew he had something when he was able to achieve his goal. From there he tried to copy the works of Joe Satriani, and formed a band called SFO, or "Satch Fans Only" playing all of Joe's big hits and more. He also has a Rush Tribute band called The Rush Project. Band history: In 2003, Michael received a call from someone saying there was this AC/DC tribute called Powerage looking to get a new Angus, well while learning all the other big named guitarists, Angus was one of the influences of his childhood learning experiences and couldn't wait to try out for the band. After the first show went off huge with only 1 rehearsal in the books, this was known to all band members to be the perfect mix of musicians for the true to life AC/DC musical experience. Favorite food: Fresh caught salmon on the river. Favorite TV show: Bugs Bunny Nickname: Col. Angus Turn-ons: Hot chicks dancing to my guitar. Turnoffs: The dudes dancing with the hot chicks.
